Iowa Watershed Coordinator of the Year Award

The 2024 application can be found here and is due July 17, 2024.

Iowa’s watershed coordinators are critical to the future success of improving water quality and meeting the goals of the Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy. This award honors the important work watershed coordinators do every day to improve Iowa’s water quality. The Watershed Coordinator of the Year will receive $5,000 for their local watershed program and $1,000 for their own professional development. If they cannot accept money, it will be donated to a project or water quality effort of their choice.

Team Impact Award

2024 application can be found here and is due July 17, 2024.

For the first time ever and due to popular demand, there will be a Team Impact Award! Improving Iowa’s water quality takes a village. Many people have to come together to make an impact! The Team Impact Award celebrates a collaborative team that is working together effectively for maximum results. The team could be made up of public sector individuals, private sector individuals, or a combination of both.

Individual Impact Award

The Individual Impact Award recognizes one individual who has had significant impact and leadership in a watershed or in the state of Iowa. This person is one who works to improve water quality, collaborate with partners, and sees real results!
